My cousin is 38, when he was younger he was very cool, all the girls liked him. he was a rocker, had his own band.
Then he got brainwashed by my aunt and extended family that hardly anyone makes it in music and to give it up and go to college, he gave it went to college and is a computer programmer now.
he still lives with his mom even though he makes $150k, he weighs about 300 pounds, gained about 100 i would day, hes very awkward. like he stares for too long and doesnt know what to do with his hands, i find it very irrittating. he has this awful habit of starring way too long at me when im talking-its weird. i even told him “why are you starring at me”? He stars making some nerdy laugh.. Then if i watch a movie with a pretty girl, he clenches his hands and gets really nervous and makes a nervous smile like hes embarrased.
He doesnt date, his last girlfriend was an illegal alien from peru with no education, i think she made him even more dumb.
How do i interact with this person?
maybe try and find some old photo’s and do the remember this and when we did that route……………..it may make him yearn for how he was and begin to interact better ………it will take time but lets hope …………

I would say his biggest problem is his mother. It sounds like she babies him too much.
Have you ever suggested , that he should try to date. There are a lot of over weight women that might be interested in him.
He probably has some sort of social disorder. One that comes to mind would be autism. There is high functioning autism. It is often referred to as Asperger Syndrome. With high function autism, he can be very smart, but lack social skills.
