I’ll post answer in a while if you’re really interested.
Bosco chocolate syrup (it was also used in many b/w horror movies of the 60’s).
The one im talking about has Christian Bale in it. I know its an older movie, but I just watched it. Did he imagine all the killings he did? Why did he get so upset over the business cards?
lol, that part about the business cards is hilarious to me.
That movie is a sort of statement on American culture in a lot of ways. In the first few scenes, he narrates his very specific choices of apartment design, skincare products, exercise list, and even 80’s (then pop) music. This might be a commentary on the materialistic nature of the cash-run society we live in (- similar to the apartment furnishings explination in fight club).
I think it’s a character study about getting too wrapped up in superficial things. People begin to get jealous of eachother over nothing more than rumors, Bateman leads what he believes is a double life. He acts out all of his sickest fantasies, which all seem to include him having power over someone. Sadly he learns that it was all just part of his own self-important fantasy.
we all need a little perspective check once in a while.
The psycho killer is a prisoner and the doctor interviewing him thinks that he has cured him and they release him from prison and then he kills the person driving him(the prisoner) at the end.
I don´t know but that movie sounds really creepy
If you’ve seen the movie “Psycho” from the 1960s, how scary would you say it is? Like 1 being not scary at all and 10 being so scary i wanna cry.
For its time 10.
For our time 3.
Pyscho is more of a psychological thriller more than it is an actual horror movie as is all hitchcock films.
I liked Rear View window more than psycho.
The mive american phsyco..why do you think bret easton ellis wrote it. How does it describe the american charectar or sterotype. how would to describe batemans charecatar.

I wanna know cuz im interested in seeing the movie, but i wanna hear about the things he does in the movie!
he loves huey lewis and the news. like, loooooooves them! its so evil and creepy.

I am doing a paper for english on cinematography and the movie has to have some historical element to it. What could Psycho show historically?—other than the portrayal of a real life serial killer?
You can definately talk about modernization and how many private family owned companies could not keep up with the ever-changing times. interstates being built caused many to not travel through certain places anymore. On the otherside, new highways being built caused some small time places to explode and be put on the map.
Another Historical aspect is the maternalism and how the character still lived with his mom at an older age adn that when the father died things fell apart. Because, back then, the man was the provider and children stayed home longer as well
I would. I wouldn’t even need to act lol.
I was watching a horror last night and just thought of how fun it would be to play the crazy murderer.
yeah and i’d probably win an oscar
Please help i need to do this for a project for college..whats the story and plot of the movie? the uses of lighting , setting and camera? by the way this psycho movie is from hitchcock
I have all the answers for that stored on my DVD backup disc for the movie Psycho. I bet Blockbuster also has such a backup disk with all the answers on it, probably filed under Pscyho in the Horror/Thriller section. They tend to be like a modern day library for that sort of stuff.
The reason you are asked to do these oh so hard assignments like watching a classic movie is normally that your teacher thinks you actually have something to gain from doing so. I know! Weird, isn’t it? A teacher wanting you to do your own work and use your own brain to do your own critical thinking. Sadistic, this modern education system. And you’re paying for that torture! What a world.
What other movies like that might I like? I normally don’t like suspense or horror but the 1998 version of Psycho was good.
30 Days of Night
The Hills Have Eyes
Wrong Turn (version with Eliza Dushku)
