Showtime Questions
I already know I will order HBO, but I am having difficulty deciding what other package to choose. I will only order HBO and one other. Which one and why?
Cinemax is owned by HBO and has a lot of the same movies. I had the HBO/Cinemax suite for 10 years, and I always liked it, but if you can choose Showtime, then you’ll get two entirely different networks and more movie choices. Plus, you’ll be able to see Dexter, Weeds, The Tudors, and other Showtime series, along with the various HBO series. I’d go with Showtime.
Is there a centralized source they subscribe to? Or do they build out partnerships with the individual theater chains?
Theaters coordinate their showings with booking agents (or distributors) who help pull all the info together for the internet.
No one really has HBO,Showtime,& Movie Channel anymore like
they use to. The new movies are not as hot because they don’t
seem to stay in the theater long enough.
I had them. They had a pretty good selection. Cinamax had great soft core.
I do not care about the 30 minute or one hour shows that hbo and showtime offer (thei original series). WHich one has the best movies? Which one has the shortest time between the release in the movie theater and its premier on the channel?

It takes place during the 1800’s,a wealthy african-american family living in Canada,does business with some white gentlemen (I forget what state they are from),but the younger gentleman falls in love with the daughter of the family and her father allows them to marry. However, after they are married and move south,he puts her with the slaves! and she befriended somone on the plantation to get word to her family,because they had not heard anything from her.. I forget the ending,but would love to find the movie…help!
The movie is called “Feast of All Saints.” The movie was shot in Canada and revolves around New Orleans.
Ok, i saw this movie once for a class but it was actually preatty good and i’d love to own it. thing is, i dont know the name of said movie. I know it has to do with the life of some broadway or movie choreografer and that every morning he snorts crack and says showtime. fyi: family guy made fun of this movie once too.

What is a good website that you find a theatre and it gives you a list of the movies and times and you can look them up like a week in advance?
It depends where you are? What continent? What country? What state/county? Jeesh.
