that’s a hard question, i almost think if i were her i might just go after him. it would sure be hard not to. once you cross the line and cheat in a marriage, you’ve already changed so much, anyway it would for me. i don’t know if i could live the rest of my life with a lie like that in my heart. at the same time you don’t want to hurt your whole family so i guess maybe i would stay, and figure that my heart being torn in two was the cost of those days of happiness. the thing is, i wouldn’t have cheated in the first place, because her husband was such a good guy. i think some actions are better kept in your mind.

We had a truly love but I decided to give it up and I sacrificed our truly love, because my husband tried to kill himself. I finally came back to my husband. I lost my truly love - the only true love I ever had in my love. Do you think my decision was right or wrong? I have been regretted every day and I have been cried almost half year, because I lost my only true love… currently I felt like I am living in a lie with my husband, because I don’t love him any more… but I am still living with him… what I am going to do with this life? I am living in this world without a soul, because I don’t have only true love any more… what I am going to do with this life???
I hate to say this but as I felt in the movie you should not have cheated in the first place.If you are unhappy in your marriage then look for a divorce attorney,and go on with your life, Your husband hopefully is on medication for depression. You can prepare him by talking to him honestly. Also his family and friends can help by being there for him.Best wishes to all.The longer you stay the worse it can be for your husband and you.

I’ve never seen the scene in Bridges, but you can see her flash her chest at a guy in the movie Silkwood and probably tell from that if it’s her in Bridges.

Yes, such a good movie. Me and my mom would watch it together a lot. It really did make me sad, but the ending was still sweet and satisfying. The kids, Meryl Streep’s character’s kids, were little jerks though, oh they made me so mad for some reason.

But yes, I think Meryl Streep did a good job in this role. And, Clint, of course he did too. I wonder if there is going to be a sequel of this movie, I would love to see it.
I think the reason I loved this movie is because it related to me at that time, I was in love with a man in a long-distance relationship. But he was married! I want to watch this movie again and see if it still makes me cry. Probably not.
She made the right decision by staying home with her family. Those children needed their mom and she had a “past” now. Those things you treasure in your memory and that is what makes life interesting, those little secrets…
I never saw Bridges of Madison County, but it sounds creepy. Some user mentioned it in response to my question about The Notebook sucking goat milk. I thought The Notebook was worse until I flashed back to the repressed memory of Fried Green Tomatoes.

No, she wasn’t naked and has never done a nude scene in any of her movies except once,when she exposed her breasts in,”Silkwood”
He was on assignment for NG and shooting covered bridges in Iowa? Without watching the movie, what are some of the details? I don’t remember that much. What kind of camera was he using? What kind of techniques did he use? Was there anything special or memorable about this one aspect of the movie?
I thought he was believable…..he was talking to Meryl Streep’s character about the light at that bridge.

I love a good romance book and movie but when I read it I was turned off because this women was cheating on her husband. Her husband was a good man. Granted a sexy new man come into your life but I could get passed the fact that she was having an affair.
