I can only find it on the album for the movie Unforgiven and you have to download the entire album. I don’t like the new versions (maybe live?) that they offer.

In Metallica’s Unforgiven or the Clint Eastwood movie that bears the same name. I somehow understand what it means but I cannot find it in any dictionary so far.

Unforgiven means not forgiven, not granted a pardon or excused.
Check the dictionary site below. It is in there.

unforgiven
1425, from un- (1) “not” + pp. of forgive. Unforgiving is attested from 1713.

I’m not asking for your favorite movie quote, or your favorite movie. For example, two of my all time favorite scenes are Death Star run at the end of “Star Wars” and the conversation between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper in “True Romance”. The scene where Clint Eastwood comes back to kill Gene Hackman in “Unforgiven” is pretty bad *ss too.

Feel free to descipe the scene in detail.

The gunbattle between Angel eyes, Blondie, and tuco in the Good, The Bad, and the ugly. Its awesome, one to watch a million times.

Here are some favorites: the good, the bad, and the ugly, fistful of dollars, for a few dollars more, rio bravo, the unforgiven, 3:10 to yuma (new and old), and high noon

hang em high was ok

Not sure if it’s considered a western but “Treasure of the Sierra Madre” is a great movie with Humphrey Bogart, A classic performance..

Or maybe I should ask what is your favorite western movie. I’m 33 years old and have just started watching westerns. Until the other night, I had never watched a John Wayne movie (I know, I know, it’s shameful, but true.) I watched “El Dorado”, and I really enjoyed it. I’ve also watched “Unforgiven”, “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”, “For a Few Dollars More”, “Open Range”, and “The Undefeated”. I’m just trying to get an idea of which ones I really need to see to fully appreciate the whole genre. I’ve read a few things online that say “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” is one of the best. Any (sensible) input and opinions are appreciated!!

Lonesome dove (a series i know) but i think its the best,

you should seriously consider renting lonesome dove you won’t be disappointed, even friends i have that don’t watch westerns like it.

ps don’t bother with the spinoffs until you watch the first one wit robert douval, and Tommy Lee Jones
