As of right now Warner Bros has put all DC Comic movies on hold until they figure out a better game plan for all the franchises.
Megan Fox as Wonder Woman was only a fan started rumor based off a fan made website that was made up to look like a fake ad for a WW movie. As of right now there is no script, director, actress signed on.

The cartoon character Wonder woman rocks. The old tv show sucked, and I can’t imagine an entire movie. Somethings just aren’t meant for the big screen, or to be remade.

I’m a man but I would prefer the Wonder Woman movie be something that a mother and daughter could enjoy together. A lot of girls that watched Lynda Carter in the 70’s are old enough now to take their daughter to the movies.
I think Kate Beckinsale would be a good choice. I can imagine her playing the role, she is pretty and she already did action/adventure films. But I doubt if they ever make a Wonder Woman movie, it will be a movie that a mother could take her daughter and watch together.
I think that if they can make so many batman movies, they should at least make one kick-*** Wonder Woman movie!
I honestly think Angelina Jolie would make the best one or Lucy Lawless from Xena. They have the attitudes, beauty, and physiques for the movie. I heard they are looking from everyone from Catherine Zeta Jones, Kate Bosworth, and Lindsay Lohan to play her. I can’t wait for the movie, it’s going to be great.

Many actresses such as Kate Beckinsale as well as Whedon muses Charisma Carpenter and Morena Baccarin has been rumoured for the part, but it will likely go to an unknown.

I do. i always thought lucy lawless should play the amazon princess. my second choice was chyna (joanie marie laurer), all she have to do is tone her muscles down a little bit. thye’re both hot chicks who would make great wonder woman.

They’ve talked about it and even hired Joss Whedon to do a script at one point. But the “Wonder Woman” movie has been put on hold in favor of the “Justice League” movie, which will also feature the character. Jessica Biel was offered the role, but turned it down.
With Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Hulk, X-Men, Ironman, Elektra, and even Catwoman as movies, why won’t they make a Wonder Woman movie? Forgive me for being old-school, but isn’t Wonder Woman awesome? I think it would be a great movie, how about you? If so, who do you think should play her?

What about Rhona Mitra? She’s done Doomsday so y’know she can do action movies. She she tends to keep to lower quality movies but I think this could be a good opportunity for her.
I’m always partial to Kate Beckinsale myself as well.
If you’re going to get a strong female lead you have to get a strong female to play the female villian too.
With all the DC and Marvel comics superhero movies being made, why hasn’t Wonder Woman shown up in a big-budget action movie yet? If Hollywood does make a Wonder Woman movie, who would you pick to play Wonder Woman? Lynda C. is still pretty, but a bit long in the tooth. How about Denise Richards? She’s a buxom, gorgeous brunette? Too short?
I’m rather indifferent to the thought of a Wonder Woman movie. It does have potential, but could easily wind up being another “Fantastic Four”, where the need to cash in on having those characters in a movie superseded the trend that has revived the superhero genre, solid character development. That’s what’s so cool about Spidey, the X-Men, and the newest Batman, is that they are about more than costumes and effects. That’s the same reason I don’t think Denise Richards would be a good Wonder Woman. She’s pretty, but in essence I feel she’d be just another effect. Her acting isn’t neccesarily bad, but I don’t really think she’s lead actress materiall, especially with a character so iconic. I think Jennifer Connely (Labyrinth, Dark Water, Requiem for a Dream, A Beautiful Mind) would make an excellent Diana, or perhaps Rachel Wiesz from the Mummy movies. Sexy, but sophisticated too. It’s too bad they couldn’t hold on to Joss Whedon for the director, but if they went with Rachel Wiesz they might be able to kill two birds by having her fiancee, Darren Aronofsky (Pi, the aforementioned Reqiuem for a Dream) direct it.
If so i really like linda carter(wonder woman from the 70’s tv show) to make a cameo in the movie

Catherine Zeta-Jones, Lucy Lawless, Jessica Biel and Megan Fox all have turned this role down, and Beyonce` has made a public announcement that she really wants to play the Amazon Princess. Would she be good enough or do u think someone else is better for the job.

I don’t think Angelina Jolie’s image fit the character. It should be somebody who has that kind of girl next door image but with a strong and playful personality. Plus if they are really planing to do a “Justice League” film, and Wonder Woman will appear along with Superman and Batman, the director needs somebody who looks the same age as the guy who did Superman (Brandon Routh). Remember that Wonder Woman falls for Superman and that image doesn’t go with Angelina Jolie’s. Instead of falling for him, she looks more like she is going treat him as a toy.
Megan Fox has denied playing the character in the comic book heroine Wonder Woman, she believes that the character is lame all thought she would of bean the lead role in the live action movie. What other actress that’s a white American woman with long black hair that can play the role?
Sandra Bullock would be perfect for that role =)
