I think they should make it were Jeepers Creepers gets in Freddys way…you know Jeepers Creepers sleeps all that time….SO while he is sleeping he gets in Freddys way..

…as far as any other incarnation of the “Freddy vs. Jason 2/vs. Ash” idea, the writers of the proposed screenplay have ‘taken their toys to another sandbox’, so to speak; specifically, they have collaborated with Wildstorm, DC Comics, and Dynamite Entertainment, to create a presently running limited issue comic book rendition of their story…
…as silly as the idea is, I’m sorta hoping that enough positive interest in the comic book might be generated, so that New Line Cinema might coinsider picking this up again, for a feature film project…

I don’t think that they are planning to make sequel. They are actually planning to remake nightmares at the elm street.
